About Us
Promoting Swimming in the Wellington Region
Here at the Swim Trust, we are driven by a single goal; to get schoolchildren back in the pool and improve declining swimming standards in Wellington. The Swimming Trust of Wellington was conceived in 2008 as a direct response to the continued loss of school pools in the region and the reduction in the number of schools, that have access to their own pools.
What We Do
Our Current Work
We currently operate and manage the Aquadome Pool, provide school swimming programmes to 5 schools in Wellington Central, hire lane space to community groups, adult swimming programmes and Learn to Swim groups.
School Swimming Programmes
We currently work with 5 schools in Wellington Central: Wellington College, Wellington East Girls College, Clyde Quay, St Marks and Mount Cook, providing them with pool space and coaches for their swimming programmes.
If you are interested in moving your school swimming programme to the Aquadome or hiring swim coaches for your school swimming programme then please get in touch.
Pool Hire for Events
The Aquadome pool is available for one off hiring in the evenings and during the weekend. We can provide a full 25m pool, learners pool or both for your event. *Unfortunately this is not available for birthday parties.

Community Groups Lane Hire
We provide lane hire or pool hire to community groups and clubs such as Surf life Saving, Waterpolo, Synchronised Swimming, School Sport Teams, Learn to Swim and Adult Swimming Groups.
